Charles is the founder of Firefox Ventures Inc.  He brings more than 40 years of sales, marketing, and business operations experience in the information technology industry to the table. Charles founded Unitech Solutions in 1991 and in 1993 formed Fisher/Unitech through a merger with Fisher Engineering Systems Corporation.  Over the next two decades, the company grew both organically and through the completion of 8 acquisitions.  Fisher/Unitech became the largest reseller of 3D Printers in the world with their relationship with Stratasys, the leader in the 3D Printing market.  In addition, the company was one of the largest resellers of Dassault Systemes SolidWorks in North America.  In 2014 Fisher/Unitech was acquired by The Riverside Company, a private equity firm headquartered in New York and Cleveland.  In 2020, the company was acquired by Computer-Aided Technology Inc.

 

Prior to Fisher/Unitech, Charles spent 11 years with the IBM Corporation in several sales, marketing, and management assignments.  He worked within the Data Processing Division, which focused on mainframe systems and related applications for manufacturing.

 

Charles has served as President of the Board of Trustees for Kensington Academy, Commodore of Pontiac Yacht Club, and developed a large youth sailing instruction and racing organization that continues to serve over 180 youth each year.  Charles founded the Michigan Intercollegiate Ski Association and formed the Wayne State University ski team.
