Charles is the founder of Firefox Ventures Inc.  He brings over 40 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business operations within the information technology industry to the table.  His firm has functioned as the M&A advisor, providing investment banking services for several company exits. 

 

Charles founded Unitech Solutions in 1991 and in 1993 formed Fisher/Unitech through a merger with Fisher Engineering Systems Corporation.  Over the next two decades, the company grew both organically and through the completion of 9 acquisitions.  Fisher/Unitech became the largest reseller of 3D Printers in the world with their relationship with Stratasys, the leader in the 3D Printing market.  In addition, the company was one of the largest resellers of Dassault Systemes SolidWorks in North America.  In 2014 Fisher/Unitech was acquired by The Riverside Company, a private equity firm headquartered in New York and Cleveland.  In 2020, the company was acquired by Computer-Aided Technology Inc.

 

Prior to joining Fisher/Unitech, Charles spent 11 years with the IBM Corporation in various sales, marketing, and management roles.  He worked within the Data Processing Division, which focused on mainframe systems and related applications for the manufacturing industry.

 

Charles has served on the boards of several organizations, including: Detroit Regional Yacht-racing Association (2027 Commodore); President of the Board of Trustees for Kensington Academy; Commodore of Pontiac Yacht Club, and  Don Bosco Hall.  He developed an extensive youth sailing instruction and racing organization that continues to serve over 180 youth each year.  Charles founded the Michigan Intercollegiate Ski Association and formed the Wayne State University ski team.
